FILIPINO-AMERICAN Travis Kraft, a Los Angeles-based actor, and model has made his mark on opposite ends of the continent.

In the Philippines, he has graced Television, billboards and fashion spreads in 2006 and 2007. His gorgeous looks and well-built physique appeared on the billboards and print ads of Canadian Club, Jockey and Rexona among others.

In America, Travis acted in movies like Skeletons in the Closet, No Rules and The Life and The Passion of Christ.

One of his career highlights includes a modeling stint as Lindsay Lohan?s Superman when the two did a fashion pictorial for Harper?s Bazaar magazine on its March 2008 issue.

The editorial was shot by world-renowned European lensman, Peter Lindbergh. Besides Superman, Travis also played the Flash, Captain America, Batman and Spiderman. Travis and Lindsay both enjoyed their two-day pictorial. Travis only had good words about Lindsay. ?Lindsay was fantastic to work with and we had a lot of fun.

?She has a great sense of humor and we joked around in between shots. Lindsay is a stunning beauty in person, but of course my type is still the beauty of the Filipina.?

Travis during his collegiate years at Eastern Michigan University, was a three-time North Dakota state wrestling champion and has a degree in Telecommunications and Film. After attending EMU on a wrestling scholarship, Travis moved to LA and studied acting and stunt fighting.

Travis? mother is a Filipina. In spite of his Caucasian looks, Travis is a Filipino at heart who loves authentic Filipino cuisines like adobo, lumpia and kare-kare.

Travis is known for his unique, funny, and entertaining instructional cooking videos in Filipino that he wrote, directed, and hosted like American Adobo and Salo-salo. American Adobo has become one of the top favorites on youtube.com. In fact, he was invited to guest on TFC?s Adobo Nation a few months ago.

Salo-salo video can now be seen on limited DVD copies only and available upon ordering on-line. American Adobo video and Salo-salo teaser can be viewed via www.poolboyfilms.com, www.youtube.com, and other related sites.

His enthusiasm for the Filipino cuisine, language and culture is quite admirable. He was the host in the 17th Annual Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture last month in California. He was also featured on the July 11 issue of The Asian Journal SF magazine as ?The White Dude Who Loves Pinoy Culture.?

Travis visited the Philippines several years ago and he?s fallen in love with the country. ?Filipinos have the most beautiful smile. Whenever I am away, I always dream of coming back because I just miss the people. They are very friendly and hospitable,? he enthuses.
