MANILA, Philippines -- The Department of Justice has dismissed the murder case filed against the assistant of actress Nida Blanca.

In a resolution approved by Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales, the DoJ investigating body granted a petition for review filed by Elena de la Paz against the pending murder charge against her, saying there is enough basis to believe the claim of innocence of Dela Paz.

Blanca, Dorothy Jones in real life, was murdered in November 2001.
