MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATE 4) Actress Katrina Halili sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to file a complaint against her former lover, cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho, over the spread of video clips of their intimate moments on the Internet.
After a one-hour-long closed door meeting with NBI officials, Halili was asked to submit an affidavit to investigators, said NBI Director Nestor Mantaring.
Halili—who was wearing jeans, a gray bolero jacket over a green shirt, and dark shades— was “calm” during the meeting, Mantaring told reporters.
She was accompanied by Senator Ramon Revilla Jr., who had vowed to help her in “achieving justice over Kho’s wicked video taping and presumed spreading of their intimately private activity.”
“I will make sure that Halili will get justice. The case will be an eye-opener to the country on the proliferation of the so-called sex scandal videos that is already alarming and not entertaining at all,” he said.
In a privilege speech on Tuesday, Revilla called Kho a “sex maniac” and “predator” after footage showed the controversial surgeon and Halili in sexy dance scenes. He also asked the Professional Regulation Commission to revoke Kho’s license.
Halili arrived at the NBI at around 2 p.m. NBI psychologist, Cynthia Alcuaz, joined the meeting at around 2:30 p.m.
Before proceeding to the NBI, Halili met with Revilla in his office at the Senate. Halili was accompanied by her lawyers, Mamyrlito Tan and Raymond Palad.
Kho is the boyfriend of popular cosmetic surgeon, Vicki Belo.
Halili admitted to having had a brief affair with Kho even while he was engaged with Belo.
