MANILA, Philippines? The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) expects celebrity cosmetic doctors Hayden Kho and Vicki Belo to submit their respective sworn statements this week regarding a sex video involving actress Katrina Halili which ended up on the Internet.
NBI Anti-Fraud and Computer Crimes Division (AFCCD) chief Vicente De Guzman III said the lawyers of Kho and Belo have informed his office that the two doctors would be filing their respective statements on Wednesday.
Businessman Eric Chua, who was said to have been asked by Belo to try and hack Kho?s computer hard drive, did not show up Monday to give his statement. De Guzman said another summons would be sent to him.
The NBI-AFCCD head said that apart from the violation of provisions of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act of 2004 on pornography, they would be studying the possibility of including a cyber sex crime charge against whoever is responsible for releasing the private video.
While the buzz on celebrity sex tapes has yet to hush down, yet another actress filed a police complaint against a fellow actor for alleged sexual harassment on the set of a TV drama series.
Twenty-year-old actress Yasmien Kurdi alleged she was subjected to sexual advances by co-actor Baron Geisler at least five times last week, her lawyer told reporters Monday.
?On several occasions, he told my client lewd words, words that have sexual innuendo and she took offense of these words,? said Kurdi?s lawyer Ferdinand Topacio.
?She was touched in a manner that was sexually suggestive. There were gestures Mr. Geisler did that I can?t describe here because they are too lewd,? Topacio said in Camp Crame Monday.
Kurdi appeared before the Philippine National Police Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC) past 4 p.m. Monday to file her complaint against Geisler. With a report from Tarra Quismundo
