MANILA, Philippines? (UPDATE) The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is set to issue subpoenas for beauty doctor Hayden Kho, his mom Irene, and actress Katrina Halili amid accusations hurled by the elder Kho that Halili influenced her son to use drugs.

PDEA Director General Dionisio Santiago ordered the agency?s Complaint and Reaction Unit (CRU) under Major Valentino Lopez to head the investigation and the alleged involvement of illegal drugs in the Kho-Halili controversy, said PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon.

Lopez said the subpoenas to be released within the day will invite Halili for questioning 1:30 p.m. Friday, and Kho and his mother 3 p.m. the same day Friday.

?We will subpoena Hayden Kho, Irene Kho, and Katrina Halili to shed light?on the allegations that there were narcotics being used,? Lopez said in a phone interview.

In a separate interview, Carreon said Halili has expressed her intention to undergo a drug test at the PDEA headquarters within the week to dispute the claim of Kho?s camp that she uses drugs.

?PDEA Director General Dionisio Santiago will be inviting Kho?s mother to substantiate her claim on illegal drugs,? Carreon said.

Lopez said allegations that illegal drugs were involved in the controversy were ?very, very alarming.?

?Definitely that is very, very much alarming. That?s why we [will] immediately issue the subpoena to warn other drug users that similar incidents may occur,? he said.

Lopez added that the PDEA is now coordinating with different entertainment organizations to curb the use of illegal drugs within the industry.

?We are coordinating with different showbiz organizations to spearhead to have their members undergo a drug test. We are talking to some media moguls. It is a wake-up call,? he said.

In an interview on television Monday night, Kho hit back on Halili on the controversy surrounding the leak of different videos showing Halili and other women in intimate situations with Dr. Hayden Kho.

?Ms. Katrina Halili, nabili na yang arte mo. Sabihin ko sayo, ikaw ang naglulong sa anak ko sa droga. Anong klase ang babae? (You are such an actress. You got my son into drugs. What kind of a woman are you?)? Kho?s mother said.
