MANILA, Philippines?(UPDATE 3) Controversial actress Katrina Halili has denied using and supplying the party drug ecstasy to cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho, despite the cosmetic surgeon?s claim at a Senate inquiry, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said on Friday.

PDEA Director General Dionisio Santiago said Halili denied Kho's accusations in a closed door meeting with PDEA's command group.

"But in the future we will try to find out if we can get some more. Kung wala, i-declare namin na mag-stick na lang ?yong investigation sa anggulo ng sex video," Santiago told reporters.

Halili arrived shortly after 1:30 p.m. in response to a subpoena issued by PDEA.

But Halili deferred taking the drug test as her lawyer said she had another appointment.

Halili would take the drug test either on Monday or Tuesday, lawyer Raymund Palad said.

During a Senate hearing on Thursday, Halili's former lover, Dr. Hayden Kho, said their sexual encounters, which were filmed and distributed on the Internet, were drug-fueled.

Santiago said Halili would be asked to submit to either a urine or hair follicle drug test, which would determine the presence of drugs in her body.

But the PDEA chief admitted they could not compel the actress to submit to a drug test, after her camp expressed desire to take the drug test either at the NBI, the police crime lab, or an accredited hospital.

Santiago stressed that whether Halili tested positive or negative for drugs will be irrelevant.

"Kahit positive siya it has no bearing dahil ang hinahanap natin yung source ng drugs," he said.

Kho, meanwhile, was a no-show at the PDEA.

His legal counsel Herbert Hernane said Kho opted not to personally appear at the PDEA and the National Bureau of Investigation for security reasons and also to avoid another unpleasant meeting with Halili.
