MANILA, Philippines?(UPDATE) The Department of Justice has summoned estranged sweethearts Hayden Kho and Vicki Belo to answer a complaint filed against them by a young actress over a sex video scandal.
City Prosecutor Emilie Fe Delos Santos, head of the Department of Justice?s Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Task Force, also required Engineer Eric Johnston Chua and Dr. Mark Herbert ?Bistek? Rosario to submit their counter-affidavit and supporting evidence to support their claims they had no hand in the spread of the videos.
Actress Katrina Halili filed the complaint against the four over the release of a video showing her and Kho having sexual intercourse.
Though Rosario?s reported girlfriend, Princess Marie Velasco, is included in the complaint, she was not subpoenaed because there was no address provided in the complaint.
The four would appear at the preliminary investigation on June 19 and 25, said Delos Santos, who was also the lead prosecutor in the case filed by Nicole against American Marine Lance Corporal Daniel Smith in the controversial Subic rape case.
Delos Santos designated Senior State Prosecutor Rosanne Elepano-Balauag, State Prosecutors Ma. Lourdes Uy, Hjalmar Quintana Jr. and Xerxes Garcia as members of the task force.
Last week, the National Bureau of Investigation-Violence Against Women?s and Children?s Desk filed a case against Kho for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act.
On Monday, Halili filed a supplemental complaint including Belo, Rosario, Chua and Velasco.
