MANILA, Philippines?The Quezon City prosecutors office on Thursday morning ended its preliminary investigation of the libel complaint lodged by actress Katrina Halili against the mother of her ex-lover, cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho.
The camp of respondent Irene Kho submitted a rejoinder affidavit in which they answered an earlier reply affidavit filed by Halili.
Lawyers for both parties said they would not be filing memoranda or a summation of their arguments.
A resolution, whether junking the complaint or elevating it to the court, is expected to be issued within two months.
