LOS ANGELES?A self-styled pastor and former reality television contestant pleaded not guilty at court hearing Wednesday to murdering a Singapore-born adult movie actress.
Brian Lee Randone, 45, a former contestant on reality television show "The Sexiest Bachelor in America," was ordered to remain in custody in lieu of $2 million bail in connection with the death of girlfriend Felicia Lee.
Lee, 31, was found dead at the home she shared with Randone in Monrovia, east of Los Angeles, on September 11. Police have said Lee had been choked and beaten before her death.
Lee, whose stage name was Felicia Tang, had appeared in cameo roles in mainstream films such as "Rush Hour 2" and "The Fast and the Furious." The actress had also appeared in several adult films, according to local media.
Randone, meanwhile, has degrees from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, according to reports which have described him as a self-proclaimed preacher.
