MANILA, Philippines ? Actor Aljur Abrenica was a no-show during the first preliminary investigation on the sexual harassment complaint filed against him by a 15-year old girl.
During Wednesday?s probe, only the complainant appeared before the Department of Justice (DOJ).
But the justice department, through state prosecutor Amanda Felipe, required the 19-year-old GMA television talent to submit his counter-affidavit during the next preliminary investigation on October 21.
The National Bureau of Investigation has filed the acts of lasciviousness complaint against Abrenica, a 2006 Starstruck talent search champion.
The case was based on the letter complaint filed by the girl and her mother.
Abrenica met the girl at a resort in Puerto Galera last April, they said in their letter complaint. The girl was with her sister then.
The actor allegedly treated them to alcoholic drinks.
As they were on the beach, the complaint letter said the "subject even laid down on the sand and continued touching the victim's hands, arms, sides and again his hands brushing the side of her breasts, buttocks and waist.?
