FILIPINO-AUSTRALIAN actor Felino Dolloso starred in a recent critically-acclaimed play entitled ?Measure,? part of this season?s Brand Spanking New, a two-week festival of short theater.
The festival aims to showcase the best new works by emerging and established Aussie playwrights, with Festival director Augusta Supple assembled a rich and varied smorgasbord of dramatic delights.

The story is about a suspected Cambodian Khmer Rouge soldier who is forced to face his past. Critics say ?It?s brimming with depth and realism, thanks to an emotionally charged and vulnerable performance by Felino Dolloso as the accused murderer Lohr.?
Dolloso is no stranger to stage and the silver screen having been cast recently in a supporting role in the movie Point Break 2, directed by Jan De Bont. De Bont megged box-office action-thriller hits Twister and Speed which starred Keanu Reeves. Among the major film credits of the up and coming Fil-Aussie actor are Candy, a 2006 feature film starring the late Australian actor Heath Ledger, Abbie Cornish and Geoffrey Rush.

His acting credits include roles in the plays The Kid, Barbarians, Exception and the Rule, Twelfth Night, The Dumb Waiter and the Jungle Book.
Other supporting roles came in the feature film Wanted, short films Collared, Slabs, Karaoke Man, Hawakan (To Touch). Felino is really looking forward to his other projects and hopes this will be another stepping stone towards Hollywood success. But on the sidelines, he continues to act on the Australian stage, where he has honed his acting craft.
