VIENNA ? Scottish Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton late Thursday opened the 47th Viennale film festival, set to show some 300 films, documentaries and shorts in the Austrian capital until November 4.
The festival will feature several films by Swinton, who won the Oscar for best supporting actress in 2008 for her part in "Michael Clayton".
Also topping the bill will be Philippine director Lino Brocka and Chinese director Guo Xiaolu.
