LOS ANGELES ? Oscar-winning Hollywood actors Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have split after more than two decades together, a spokesperson confirmed Wednesday.
The couple ?who were together for 23 years but never married ? separated over the summer according to a publicist for the actress.
"Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer," her representative Teal Cannaday said in a statement to People magazine. "No further comments will be made."
Sarandon, 63, and Robbins, 51, who met on the set of the 1988 baseball film "Bull Durham," have two children together, Jack 20, and Miles, 17.
Sarandon has a 24-year-old daughter, Eva, from a previous relationship.
Sarandon, whose films include "Thelma and Louise,? won an Academy Award in 1995's "Dead Man Walking? while Robbins won a best supporting actor Oscar in 2003 for his performance in Clint Eastwood drama "Mystic River."
