MANILA, Philippines?President-elect Benigno Aquino III will do a "surprise number" together with the country's biggest entertainment personalities at the street party at the Quezon City Memorial Circle on June 30, the head of his media bureau said Saturday.

Maria Montelibano said Aquino will sing together with an array of stars like Gary Valenciano, Jim Paredes, Ogie Alcasid, Gabby Concepcion, Anne Curtis and Jed Madela and other showbiz personalities.

"Noy will sing. He hasn't rehearsed (but) the stars will be backing him up," Montelibano said in an interview.

Aquino rapped on the hustings but this time, he will be choosing a song from a list that has been prepared for him.

"It's a surprise number.... The whole day, we will keep simple and elegant but he was insistent on having the street party to thank all of those who supported him," Montelibano said. "He insisted that there should be no distinction between the rich and poor in that celebration."

Composer Ryan Cayabyab and the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, Noel Cabangon, and Mai Paner will also be performing.

"This will be a unity concert because we'll have both Kapuso and Kapamilya stars attending," Montelibano said.

She added that the event would be carried live by the Studio 23 Network and the ANC News Channel.

"We're hoping that QTV would also carry it," Montelibano said.

The street party will be held at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City and will be attended by Aquino himself after the reception for the diplomatic corps at 6 p.m. in Malacanang?s Rizal Hall.

Guests at the Malacanang?s inaugural reception will also be invited to attend the street party and concert, which will have at least 30 singers and entertainment celebrities and could draw at least 70,000 people.

The street party will start at 4 p.m. and last till midnight. Admission is free, organizers said.

The new President, who will arrive at the Quezon Memorial Circle at 9 p.m., is expected to mingle with guests from the diplomatic corps, dignitaries, singers and entertainers during the concert and street party intended to celebrate the ?Tagumpay ng Bayan,? or People?s Victory.

The concert and street party will be capped by a fireworks display, organizers said.

The other singers and entertainment celebrities who confirmed attendance are Jake Cuenca, Nina, Jovit Baldovino, Pokwang, Arnel Pineda, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Vhong Navarro, Mariel Rodriguez, Rayver Cruz.

John Prats, Velasco Brothers, JayR, Kyla, Andi Eigenmann, Matteo Guidicelli, Ejay Falcon, Queenie Padilla, Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Pooh, Billy Crawford, Coco Martin, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco will also be there, organizers said.
