MANILA, Philippines ? President Benigno Aquino III admitted that failure of the police to successfully rescue the Hong Kong tourists got to his nerves and vowed he would fire those who failed to do their jobs in due time.

?Dun po tayo napipikon [That?s what made me upset]. They guaranteed the resolution of the crisis and yet it didn?t happen,? President Aquino said.

Mr. Aquino said the reason why the concerned police officers were still in their posts, as of Thursday, was due process.

Asked if heads would roll, he said: ?Definitely.?
