MANILA, Philippines - Could it be true that Jessica Rodriguez and her husband David Bunevacz had a falling out with Beverly Hills 6750 aesthetic clinic because of David?s alleged misallocation of company funds?
He was the clinic?s CEO while Jessica handled its PR. Talk is spreading that the beleaguered couple used the clinic?s money to buy a BMW, a Porsche and other luxury items to keep up with their lavish lifestyle.
I texted a colleague who handles the promos of BH for the story behind the story but I got no reply. Through a common friend, Jessica sent this text from the US where she and David are spending the holidays: ?I know that parang ginamit kami actually. Nung nagkapangalan na ?yung clinic, iba na. We just found out that they have a different motive. It will come out eventually. Ayoko pang lumabas but in time I will. Now I know who my real friends are.?
Jessica was the one who cooked up Beverly Hills? ?Ms. Ugly No More? contest. Ironically, things are now turning ugly between the Bunevaczes and the clinic.
Erap biopic
Heard that the camp of former president Joseph Estrada has plans of producing an Erap biopic with Jinggoy portraying his dad. If it pushes through, then a lot of actresses have to be tapped to play Erap?s many love interests. His colorful love life alone is more than enough movie material.
Guess who
I couldn?t stop laughing when a gay friend exclaimed ?Que barbaridad! Why are they pinpointing a male singer to be the cause of the split up of a celebrity couple? Don?t they know that he?s gay and he has a BF?? One love fits all?
Futuristic film
Bong Revilla is more than proud to announce that his movie in the MMFF, ?Resiklo? (Imus Productions), is bigger than ?Exodus,? his entry last year, and is slated for international release. It is a futuristic film about an attempt of alien invaders to annihilate Planet Earth.
Bong portrays the leader of holocaust survivors in the Philippines, clad in recycled uniforms (old tires, junk and military equipment). The movie is environment-friendly; it encourages moviegoers to recycle.
Lucky streak
Jolina Magdangal?s lucky streak continues. She bagged three awards during her birthday month: Gintong Kabataan award, given by her hometown Bulacan; Best Talent Search Host, from the Philippine Movie Press Club; and Golden Artist, from Famas.
Jolens considers it not so much an award as a reward for two decades of hard work. She is raring to start her movie with Gabby Concepcion which will be ala ?Roman Holiday.? Any day is a good day to be Jolens.
