Reader says ?Adarna? is the first
From Elma Galvez (gerelgy@yahoo.com), New Jersey, USA:
I just want to comment on the article published March 12 in your section. It said that ?Alamat? intends to be the first-ever Pinoy full-length animated film. Every animation movie, it seems, is trying to claim to be ?the first.? As far as I know, ?Adarna? is the first local animation film. It participated in the MMFF in 1997 and got a special award as, yes, the first Pinoy animation movie. I remain your fan. God bless you.
On 2nd Avenue
From Loi Reyes Landicho (professionalheckler@yahoo.com):
I am an ardent viewer of ?Mad Men? because of its sophisticated storytelling and the exceptional acting and cinematography.
Pirated copies of this Golden Globe Award-winning series have made its way to local DVD stalls but I prefer watching it on cable television.
Just a point of clarification: Contrary to what [came out in Viewfinder] last March 12, ?Mad Men? is not aired on Velvet but ? on Solar Entertainment?s 2nd Avenue.
More power!
