BORACAY ISLAND?Actress Azenith Briones, one of the lead actresses in the 1980s cult classic, ?Temptation Island,? said she had blisters while shooting the film in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. The late ?Temptation Island? director Joey Gosiengfao had the entire cast working under the sun for almost a month, explained Azenith.
?I was scared that my skin would never go back to the way it was before the movie,? said the actress, who was a print ad model and a beauty titlist before she joined show biz.
?What?s worth remembering while working on that film was that the cast was like a big family. We goofed around a lot between takes. We climbed duhat trees and ate the fruits during breaks,? she added.
Deborah Sun, who plays the role of nanny Maria in the movie, said she was amazed to learn about the movie?s huge following. ?It?s a film that entertains,? she explained. ?I think the secret to its success is that Joey put his heart and soul into it.?
