MANILA, Philippines - Iza Calzado will be Gabby Concepcion?s leading lady for his comeback movie, to be written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes, according to a GMA Films source.

Gabby had inked a deal with GMA Films for the movie ?I.T.A.L.Y.? which he bolted at the last minute because he thought the film?s script was not suited as his ?comeback? film. The film?s plot allegedly did not revolve around his supposed character, which is now being portrayed by Dennis Trillo.

The returning actor however vowed he would fulfill his contractual obligations with GMA Films and would look forward to any upcoming film project with the production company ?para matapos na.?

Gabby had also signed a contract with GMA rival ABS-CBN for television projects. He is set to appear in the forthcoming ABS-CBN drama ?Iisa Pa Lamang.? ABS-CBN?s Star Cinema is also planning a movie project for Gabby after he accomplishes his GMA Films contract.
