MANILA, Philippines?Instead of Lino Brocka?s ?Insiang? (1976), his other landmark film, ?Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang? (1974) will be shown at the Philippine showcase of Festival Paris Cinema next week. Brocka?s Cannes supporter Pierre Rissient reportedly wasn?t keen on including ?Insiang? in the lineup. Meanwhile, Kodak supported the country?s participation in the festival by providing film stock for 35mm prints of ?Caregiver? (2008) and ?Gagamboy? (2004) which were subtitled in Singapore.
