MANILA, Philippines?Since I grew up and lived in Berlin until I was 16, I speak and read German. They say it?s close to English. ?Eine Liebe auf Philippinen? by Kate Einburg is a novel entirely in German. The title means ?A Love in the Philippines.? It?s a romantic novel about a girl who fell in love with a guy, but she hid her real identity from him. It?s easy reading. I prefer love stories because of the Filipina in me. When it comes to love, I?m still very traditional.
