Since an on-screen reunion of Sharon and Gabby remains to be a mission impossible, the next best thing is a TV remake of their 1991 blockbuster film “Una Kang Naging Akin” via GMA’s Sine Novela.

To air starting this afternoon on the Dramarama sa Hapon block, the series top-bills Maxene Magalona, Wendell Ramos, Angelika de La Cruz, LJ Reyes and Alfred Vargas.

It’s an tangled-up love story about two women who fall in love with the same man on two exceptional occasions.

Who would Alfred choose— the one he has loved longer or the one he loves more? “I’d go for the latter. Wala naman sa tagal ng pinagsamahan yun kundi sa lalim ng nararamdaman,” he muses. “What would life be if you don’t spend it with the woman of your dreams?”
