MANILA, Philippines—In the bookstore, “The Yummy Mummy Ultimate Family Survival Guide” by Liz Fraser caught my eye. The cover is very attractive and the subtitle is witty: “Because Family Shouldn’t be an F Word.” I carry this book everywhere I go. It offers practical tips on balancing work and parenting. It’s an easy read. For a busy working mom like me, that’s a big plus.
