MANILA, Philippines?Chit Guerrero, ABS-CBN business unit head, knew that making a documentary on singer-actress Sharon Cuneta, known as the Megastar, could very well be a mega task.

?It?s easier to mount a musical special than a docu,? Guerrero admits. ?Especially since we want it to be as comprehensive as possible because it?s on the occasion of her 30th anniversary in show business.?

Entitled ?Mega Tatlong Dekada,? the docu special which airs tonight chronicles the trials and triumphs of Cuneta in the fields of music, movies, television and advertising.

The Mega docu team had to wade through hours of video footage and interview material as Cuneta has top-billed 53 movies in 27 years and has headlined eight TV shows in 28 years. She has also appeared in over 37 commercials.

Cuneta said that most of the docu?s contents would be a ?surprise? for her, except for her three sit-down interviews?the most revealing of which was conducted by filmmaker Laurice Guillen, scriptwriter Bibeth Orteza and broadcaster Karen Davila.

?It?s a pretty insightful interview a la ?The View,?? Guerrero said. ?The three interviewers asked tough questions that Sharon answered as candidly as she can.?

Some of the more intriguing queries center on her weight gain, her failed first marriage to Gabby Concepcion and the political plans of present husband Sen. Francis Pangilinan.

Another highlight is a segment on the Sharon-Gabby love team, hosted by their daughter KC Concepcion.

Leading men Robin Padilla, Aga Muhlach and Richard Gomez, who weren?t interviewed in the docu, guested in the ?Mega Thirty? concert which will be aired next Sunday.
