MANILA, Philippines?Family and friends held a welcome party for former LVN star Mila del Sol at the Southwoods Golf and Country Club on Oct 11.

Mila had just arrived from a 20-year stay in the US.

Most of her five children, 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren were present?including two show biz apo, actor Onemig Bondoc and rock guitarist Ira Cruz.

The great grandchildren prepared song-and-dance numbers for their beloved Lulay, as Mila is called by family.

Also present were Mila?s movie colleagues Delia Razon, Lilia Dizon, Oscar and Myrna Obligacion, Perla Bautista, Penpe Rodrigo, Marichu Maceda and Anita Linda.

Delia and Lilia led the dancing. Biggest surprise was the impromptu dance number of Lulay, who walks with a cane, and Oscar, who had arrived in a wheelchair.

They could?ve boogied all day.
