MANILA, Philippines -- The Department of Justice has found probable cause to charge actor Baron Geisler with acts of lasciviousness in connection with his alleged sexual advances against the daughter of showbiz couple William Martinez and Yayo Aguila.
Chief State Prosecutor Jovencito Zuno has approved the filing of acts of lasciviousness against Geisler (Baron Frederick Von Geisler in real life) for allegedly mashing the breasts of Patrizha Maree Martinez in a Makati City bar late April.
Zuno also approved the dismissal of Geisler's unjust vexation charge against Patrizha and the perjury raps Geisler filed against witnesses Steffanie Ann Chua and Yayo Aguila.
Zuno said the prosecutor attorney Amanda Felipe found credible the allegations made by the Patrizha against Geisler. Geisler, on the other hand, allegedly failed to present ample evidence to back his counter-charges against the Martinezes and their witness.
Acts of lasciviousness, Zuno said, carried a penalty of six months to six years. The prosecutors in the case recommend a bail of P12,000.
