MANILA, Philippines?Since he started getting good breaks in show biz, comedian Jose Manalo has been sharing his blessings with the needy.
?It?s my way of thanking God,? Jose told the Philippine Daily Inquirer during a gathering for his latest film ?Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After.?
Recently, Jose and fellow ?Eat ... Bulaga!? host Wally Bayola spent an afternoon with the wards of Virlanie Foundation (child-caring institution) in Makati City. ?We played with them and sat through the program they prepared,? said Jose.
It was his first time at Virlanie, but, he said, ?For several years now, my family and I have been spending my birthdays at the Elsie Gaches Foundation (for special children) in Muntinlupa.?
Jose and Wally are the lead actors of the comedy flick ?Scaregivers,? which opened in theaters this week.
