MANILA, Philippines? As intrigue-mongers so aptly put it, singer Ogie Alcasid would gladly act as production assistant-slash-official photographer to girlfriend Regine Velasquez.

During the recent ?Divas4Divas? concert at the Big Dome, Ogie gallantly stayed on the sidelines, snapping pics of his Songbird who went mano a mano onstage with fellow show-stoppers Kuh Ledesma, Pops Fernandez and Zsazsa Padilla.

Regine, along with 11-year-old Leila and six-year-old Sarah (Ogie?s two daughters by a previous marriage to Australian beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren), are among his favorite subjects, he told Inquirer Entertainment.

For Regine?s birthday special, held at her home last April, he even climbed a tree to get the perfect shot.

?Photography is my hobby?a way to unleash my creativity which I can?t do in my jobs as singer, songwriter and comedian,? he explained.

He said he picked up the hobby from Michael V., Ryan Agoncillo and Francis Magalona.
