MANILA, Philippines?I hope that the movie industry will again flourish, and that we will see more globally competitive films from local artists. I also hope to see the glitz and glamour of past awards nights again. My wish for the TV industry is for it to practice self-regulation and to veer away from depicting too much sex and violence. It should aim for artistic excellence while striving for wholesome values.
