MANILA, Philippines? Before becoming an actress and filmmaker, Laurice Guillen worked as dubber and among her first jobs was in Premiere Productions? ?Lollipops and Roses,? released in 1971. Premiere?s Digna Santiago recalled: ?Laurice lent her voice to all the female characters in ?Lollipops,? except for Nora Aunor. Laurice did the voice of Rebecca del Rio, the girlfriend of Oscar Moreno and the American mother of Don Johnson.? Guillen confirmed: ?I did at least seven voices.? For this month?s Metro Manila Film Festival, Guillen once again works as voice talent in the animated feature ?Dayo,? where she plays a Diwata/Bruha and a Visayan kapre. ?It was fun,? Guillen told Inquirer Entertainment.
