MANILA, Philippines?My four kids look forward to days when I take charge in the kitchen. I ask them what they like about my cooking and they say that I have a special ingredient that makes everything I cook taste better?which is, of course, love. My favorite recipes are the Spanish dishes passed on to me by my good friend, chef Reggie Aspiras. Paella and fabada are the most requested. My husband (broadcaster and fellow lawyer) Danny?s specialties are Filipino food and he can whip them up without a recipe book. I?ve bought most of my pots and pans on sale from Oneida and Calphalon in the US over the years.
