KC plans to show PJ her Paris

ON THE eve of her flight to France last week, KC Concepcion told Inquirer Entertainment that she?d gladly act as ?tourist guide? to her ?Lovers in Paris? co-star Piolo Pascual.

?But I won?t take him to touristy spots like the Louvre and Eiffel Tower,? she noted. ?That?s too much of a cliché. I?d rather show him small parks, coffee shops and secret gardens?places that only Parisians are familiar with.?

When she visited the French capital with Richard and Raymond Gutierrez last year, they spent a lot of time in the posh boutiques of Saint-Germain.

?Richard and Raymond love shopping,? she related. ?Richard and Piolo go for different things, though. I think Piolo is simpler.?

She?ll try to make Piolo sample the best of French cuisine, specifically sweets and seafood, she said.

?I?ll take him to Pierre Hermé for the macaroons,? she said. ?It?s also the season for seafood, so he should have fresh oysters.?

They?ll be in Paris for three weeks, taping almost every day.

?I?m not sure if we?ll have time to sit down and eat in my favorite restaurants. But I hope to take him to my school (American University) and my old apartments (near the city center and Eiffel Tower).?

Another must-see spot on her list is Montmartre. ?I just know that Piolo will like that place because of the view and the church there.?

A basilica she would like to visit is the one dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux. ?They say that if you make a wish there, the answer will come in the form of a rose,? she recounted. ?But I won?t tell Piolo that!?
