MANILA, Philippines - I teased Dingdong Dantes about his eye-catching Bench billboard where he has wings.

?Amigo, the concept of your pictorial suits you because you?re a friend who?s heaven sent.?

He shot back in jest, ?Yup, amiga, I?m an angel. A fallen angel thrown out of heaven (laughs).?

Heaven must be missing an angel? Oh yeah! I can almost hear heaven?s bells going, ?Ding dong, ding dong!?

R and R

At the shooting of the indie film ?Rock and Roll,? which stars Mark Herras, Yasmien Kurdi, IC Mendoza, Iwa Moto and other young stars, they keep teasing Rainier Castillo and Ryza Cenon because they seem to be lost in their own li?l world. As their co-stars put it ?Para silang ?others? kasi may sarili silang mundo.?

Will it be R and R soon? Ryza and Rainier, Real Romance?

Homecoming movie

Gabby Concepcion is having the time of his life touring Southeast Asia. It?s been a year since his homecoming from the US after many years of being in hiatus.

He?s raring to start shooting his movie with Angelica Panganiban for Star Cinema. ?Sometimes I wish I didn?t leave the Philippines at all,? Gabs muses. ?But everything happens for a reason. I?m a better man and in a better place in my life now.?

The best part of leaving is coming back home ? especially to the arms of adoring fans!

Birthday girl

Geneva Cruz had an intimate birthday party at Bellisimo (owned by her cousin Sunshine and hubby Cesar Montano). Since her beloved KC Montero and son Heaven are in the US, she celebrated with her cousins Shine and Rayver, close friends Rachel Alejandro and BF Philip Palma, Jay-R and GF Eliza Calove, Jimmy Muna, Kris Lawrence, Wency Cornejo, Junji Arias, former manager Girlie Rodis and present manager Arnold Vegafria.

The gorgeous birthday girl and her guests enjoyed having an impromptu mini-concert and Rayver gamely did a dance number.

Birthday cheers to you, my dear TQ (Tequila Queen). Gen. Booze tastes better with you around.

New game format

Catch ABS-CBN?s award-winning and longest-running game show, ?Pilipinas, Game KNB?s? exciting new format (debuts today before ?Ruffa and Ai?). No one is more pumped up than host Edu Manzano. It will feature eight teams with three members each at the onset. In the elimination round, teams will race to answer Edu?s questions.

Four teams will advance to the ?Taranta Round,? where players will be put on the spot with tricky questions. The two highest-scoring teams advance to the ?Diskarte Round,? where each team will be given three powers to use against each other.

In the end, only the team with the best strategy and the widest knowledge will play in the ?Million Round? for the P2 million jackpot.

Triple the fun and double the million. Dare to be the next millionaire!
