But the love and lessons she left me with will tide me over until I?m back in her warm embrace. Being my mother?s daughter will always be my best credential and being my children?s mother is what I live for.

I asked the stars to share their own ?mommy memories.? Here?s to all mothers whose work is never done and whose love never runs out.

Karylle: ?I cherish the time when my mom and I did our first number together in ?ASAP.? During the commercial break while we were both onstage, I kept rehearsing my spiel, ?Welcome back to ASAP,? since I just transferred from GMA. My mom kept teasing me na ?wag daw ako magkamali so the audience kept laughing. When we went on air, they cheered loudly when I delivered my spiel correctly.?

Ogie Alcasid: ?I?ll never forget one springtime in the ?80s when my mom and I toured the countryside of Japan, and the spiritual retreat we had during my parents? golden wedding anniversary.?

Miriam Quiambao: ?I agreed to meet my mom at her office for lunch but was unable to confirm. When I arrived, I was told she had a meeting so I thought she had forgotten. It turned out she left her phone at home. She fed me her baon. It was one of our best bonding moments.?

Diether Ocampo: ?I?m always touched when my mom cooks for me and fights those who instigate me.?

Tintin Bersola-Babao: ?What stands out in my memory are our travels together, her kilometric text messages which are the highlight of my day and her one of a kind laughter.?

Christian Bautista: ?When my mom forgave me after I got caught cheating in my Grade 1 exams. I value the way she reminds me not to forget God and the family despite my busy schedule.?

Yasmien Kurdi: ?My mom and I always watch movies together. Naghihiraman kami ng books and unahan kami kung sino makatapos. She?s like my best friend. No secrets between us. We share everything?even clothes. Kulang na lang pati underwear! Hahaha.?

Mark Herras: ?I don?t leave the house without kissing my mom. Minsan pag nakakalimutan ko, she would text me at nagda-drama. I love it when she makes lambing that way.?

Alfred Vargas: ?Despite my mom?s busy schedule as a lawyer, she always makes it a point to spend quality time with me.?

Suzi Entrata-Abrera?s new show, ?Mommy Diary,? premieres Wednesday (10:15 a.m. before ?Sis? on GMA 7 and 5:50 p.m. on QTV 11 before ?American Idol?) in time for Mother?s Day. The show centers on concerns of moms of babies up to 3 years old.

Did Ninang Suzi give Judai marriage and motherhood tips? ?I got so excited about being a ninang sa kasal, for the first time I totally forgot to give her any advice,? says Suzi, laughing. ?But I will be more than willing to guide Judai and Ryan along the way. I take my ?ninanghood? seriously, especially since sila ang una kong inaanak.?

Maybe her next show ought to be called ?Godmother Diary.?
