Doesn?t he feel pressured to outdo himself after reaping awards for his superb performance in Jay? ?Not at all, because I love my job,? he says. ?Awards are really a bonus.?

And just like his career, Baron?s love life is in full bloom. ?Tinamaan talaga ako kay Rachel (Stephenson),? he tells us. ?I hadn?t felt this way since my relationship with Jodi (Sta. Maria). Even if Chelz lives in Australia, we chat online for hours daily. Thank God for webcams (laughs)! And we visit each other monthly. It?s hard to have a long distance relationship. Sipag at tiyaga lang dapat. Our sweet reunions make the long wait worth it.?

Looks like the barfly in Baron would need less alcohol now that he?s intoxicated with love!

?Nope. I?m staying with GMA,? she clarifies. ?With my hosting, my schedule is toxic. But I hope GMA will give me a drama project soon.?

Travel sweet

Since I frequent Boracay, my airline of choice is Cebu Pacific. They fly from Manila to Bora 77 times weekly and Cebu to Boracay twice daily (www.cebupacificair.com). Most of the time, their flights arrive ahead of schedule.

Kapamilya fiesta

The Kapamilya celebration of the Panaad Festival at the Panaad Stadium began with a Little Miss Lin-Ay contest. The winners were crowned by Ms Marlin Singal of the Public Information Office and Leilani Alba, ABS-CBN Bacolod station manager.

A more grown-up Makisig Morales serenaded the little girls dressed in Ms Universe fashion. Chokoleit, who did not allow grief over his mom?s recent death to show, brought the house down with his performance.

Vice Ganda capped the fun event with his horse-dancing and horse-playing with the crowd. Live coverage of the festival were broadcast worldwide through ABS-CBN Bacolod TV-4 and DYOO-FM 101.5 Mhz. Viva la Fiesta a la Kapamilya!
