RUSHES
Scent of a troubled man

NETWORK insider says Troubled Actor figured in his nth scandal because of a long-drawn struggle with substance abuse.

TA allegedly reported for work under the influence. Initially, his co-workers were clueless, but TA reeked of marijuana, NI claims.

In short, TA wasn't even aware of his lascivious acts on the set of his latest project-which eventually led to a raging controversy.

Sex video ad nauseum

Sure sign that a scandal has reached saturation point: the grapevine becomes deluged with the wildest rumors.

Latest gossip is that, apart from a bevy of beauties, two Hunky Model-Actors also fell victim to a sex video scandal.

Some women were video-taped not in the sex act, but in a dressing room. Two Sweet Actresses and Married Celebrity were videotaped while getting dressed.

Singer-Actress was spared because she wisely decided to dress up elsewhere.

Perverted Perpetrator of the above-mentioned crimes allegedly showed off his stash to two Male Celebrities. One of the MCs warned his Actress-Girlfriend to stay away from PP's place of business.

Speaking of which, why were the sex videos of Katherine Luna and Criselda Volks (released by their disgruntled ex-lovers) virtually ignored?

Twitterworld

Pia Guanio posted on her Twitter account: "That guy who poured water on Hayden was funny."

Raymond Gutierrez "Twitter-ed" on his twin Richard, post-accident: "To those who are asking-Chard is ok . . . all medical checkups turned out fine. Still sad about it, though."

Also on Twitter, Anne Curtis is depressed about a different matter: "I lost my Blackberry . . . I'm so sad. It was my life."

Publicity hounds

Industry Veteran is shocked at Showbiz Newcomer's behavior. Allegedly heartbroken, SN attempted suicide. Upon waking up at the hospital, SN's first words were: "Am I all over the papers?"

It's true that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Handlers tried to stop SN's Mom from granting interviews, but she would not be prevailed upon.

Big pirates

An insider insists that piracy will never be completely eradicated because the top pirates in the country are Industry Bigwigs, including Major Producer.

An Indie Producer confirms this. MP's rep allegedly approached IP and, acting as broker for pirates, tried to buy IP's film for P15,000-for possible distribution in Quiapo.

"You're going to get pirated anyway," MP's rep told IP. "Might as well earn a little something from it."

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend's gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Lolit Solis on Hayden Kho:
"Anong klaseng tao ito? Nakakaawa na ang mga babaeng inano niya. Still wala siyang remorse." (Oo nga.)

Vicki Belo on being involved in the sex video scandal:
"Of all the trials I've been through, this is probably the worst. But I always try to see a silver lining. Maybe the purpose behind it is for laws to finally be passed against things like these and for women to realize that... if somebody has a girlfriend, you shouldn't go in there and try to steal him." (Parang hindi ito ang usapan, Tita.)

Vicki on Lolit's allegation that she supports Hayden financially:
"Di ko alam saan niya nakukuha yon. Nakakahiya sa parents ni Hayden... Wala naman akong binibigay na pera. Nandito lang ako as a friend. Moral support." (Not in cash, at di siya ang nagbibigay-maliwanag?)

Yasmien Kurdi on her acts of lasciviousness complaint against Baron Geisler:
"Naramdaman ko po na na-degrade po ang pagkatao ko. Napa-blotter ko po. Sana, magtino na siya." (Amen.)

Baron on the controversy:
"Everything went okay. We're back at work. Everything's good. We're at peace." (Wow, sobraang eeeezy!)

Marian Rivera on her first day playing the role of "Darna":
"Kahit papaano nakakalipad na ako. Medyo sanay na ako sa harness at yung mga moves ni Darna na medyo babae ang galaw. Ayaw kasi ni direk Dom (Zapata) ng medyo maskulado, gusto niya medyo feminine pa rin. Medyo nakakailang kasi yung costume niya ganoon pero natuwa ako kasi ibang iba siya." (Medyo... ano kamo?)

Marian on reports that she and Dingdong Dantes sport tattoos with one another's initials:
"Secret. Naniniwala kasi ako na bilang tao ay kailangan i-respeto din natin siya na kung may tattoo man siya eh kung ano man ang meaning nun eh nasa sa kanya na yun. Parang ako, kung meron man ako, akin na yun." (Ano raw?)

Judy Ann Santos, asked about her first month of marriage to Ryan Agoncillo:
"Hindi namin napansin na isang buwan na pala kami mag-asawa. Masaya. Sosobrahan ko pa yung mga obligasyon ko at responsibilidad ko sa kanya di lang bilang asawa kundi bilang kaibigan, bilang kusinera." (Don't worry, dadami pa talaga yan.)

John Lloyd Cruz on reports he has separated from girlfriend Liz Uy:
"Siguro darating yung time na... makakapagbigay ako ng mas malinaw na statement tungkol dito. Konting pang-unawa muna..." (Nag-break na sila, in short.)

Lloydie on reports identifying Sarah Geronimo as the cause of the breakup:
"Di ko naman pinagkakaila na si Sarah, naging special naman talaga sa akin si Sarah. Hindi gimmick. Pero it doesn't follow na kung special sa 'yo yung isang tao, liligawan mo na." (Spoiler alert: May new movie sila.)
