Rachel’s yummy ‘Sexy Chef’ diet

MANILA, Philippines? We?ve had enough of those sex videos, or haven?t we? But even if being in a sex scandal a la Katrina isn?t one of your wildest dreams, that?s no excuse for not being as sexy as you can be.

I?m no sexy star but thanks to the South Beach Diet by Rachel and Barni Alejandro?s Sexy Chef Cafe, I am well on my way to getting slim. My life is in better shape so my body should follow suit.

Gourmet meals and healthy snacks prepared according to the South Beach program are delivered fresh to your home daily. The diet is designed to make you lose 8-13 pounds in two weeks. (Call 911-7399 or 0917-7992433).

Since I started the diet, I look forward to waking up each day and see what yummy dishes are in store for me. Sexy Chef?s concoctions are too good to be diet food. I particularly love the Bacon Fritata, Yakiniku Fish, Big Easy Shrimp, Sizzling Cheese Steak, Lean Chicken Burgers and Banana Cream Dessert.

?I make suggestions to our chefs,? says Rachel. ?And I taste the food before delivery. It?s my sis Barni who creates the recipes.?

Hasn?t Rachel and her boyfriend Philip found the recipe for marriage yet? ?Not yet,? she replies. ?For now, I?m contented with being a mom to my 2-year-old shitzu Gavin.? Is she also contented with the way things are between her and her ex Dingdong Avanzado after they got embroiled in a controversy because of his rumored marital woes with Jessa Zaragoza? ?I haven?t talked to the couple since my concert with Dingdong,? Rachel says. ?But I don?t expect an apology. I?m still open to working with them, though.?

For now, she?s working on an album, a possible online cooking show and a Sexy Chef cookbook. Rachel is herself on phase 2 of the diet. ?I take lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables,? she says. ?It?s recommended for active people who need carbohydrates but still want to lose or maintain their weight.?

Healthy is sexy! Make your body your best buddy by feeding it right.

On and off

HAVE Phoemela Baranda and Ira Cruz split up? ?We?ve always been on and off,? sighs Phem. ?So I don?t want to say anything now and eat my words later. I want to think first and evaluate what we have. I?m not getting any younger.? But Phem doesn?t seem to age. Her heart may be in limbo but it will surely get to paradise soon because she?s always given her all to love.

WHETHER Edu Manzano is ready to admit it or not, he is dead-set on running for senator in 2010. Will he seek political advice from his ex, Gov. Vi? Old lovers, new allies? Is politics crazier than love?

Suing Baron

Chatting with Yasmien Kurdi online in Facebook, I asked her if there?s anything Baron Geisler can do to make her forgive him. She has pressed charges against him for acts of lasciviousness. ?Sorry I can?t talk about it anymore,? she replied. ?It?s with the courts na kasi.? The ball is now in Baron?s court. I?m sure he has the balls to own up to his mischief, if proven.
