Maegan: Don’t trust Marc Abaya

MAEGAN Aguilar is fuming mad at Kjwan vocalist Marc Abaya. ?When I met Marc last April, we hit it off instantly,? Maegan says. ?I thought I found the best guy friend ever but I was deceived. I regret making him a part of my life. He tore me to pieces and pretended I didn?t exist.?

Maegan groped in the dark because, after getting too close too soon, Marc just suddenly ignored her. Then she found out that Marc added her husband, Shawn, (Eicholz, who?s based in the United States) to his Facebook contacts and forwarded to him all the private e-mail she sent to Marc.

?Shawn is going through emotional trauma,? Maegan sighs. ?Our trust is broken. If it were not for our son Zane, he would have left me in a heartbeat. But I?m glad that he believes I?m not entirely to blame. Marc was almost successful in ruining my marriage.? (Go to http://donottrustmarcabaya.blogspot.com for the story behind the story).

My heart goes out to Maegan because I know how she goes the extra mile for her friends. Sad that the friendship of these two singers has hit a sour note. But what matters now is that Maegan and Shawn will keep the music playing.

In defense of Vicki

After Katrina Halili?s body has been ?Belo-fied? all over, she has the audacity to appeal to the Department of Health to have all the Belo clinics shut down and ask that Doctor Vicki Belo?s license be revoked. She was the one who snatched Hayden Kho from Vicki so why is she making it seem that she?s the victim?

There would be no sex video to begin with if she didn?t carry on with their liaison dangereuse. She has every right to be angry at Hayden but why is she taking it out on Vicki? Knowing how kind-hearted Vicki is, it?s impossible that she orchestrated the uploading of the sex videos on the Net.

I remember when her trusted Girl Friday, whom she treated like family, robbed her blind. Instead of retaliating, Vicki just let her go. What more when it comes to Hayden, whom she loved deeply? His shame is her shame, too.

Katrina has asked Flawless (co-owned by Vicki) to release her one-year endorsement contract worth P300,000 but it seems she has no intention of returning a single centavo. Vicki and her biz partner Ruby are not demanding it back.

Flawless won?t release her because it wants to honor its commitment but since Katrina no longer wants to be associated with the clinic, it is not imposing its legal rights and will leave it up to her whether she wants to appear or not in their events. Katrina?s next billboard should read: Shameless!

Well-lived life

Tito Dougs? wonderful legacy lives on in the biz. I fondly remember the PBA games we would watch while rooting for Joey Marquez (whom Tito Dougs led into show biz). I?ll never forget when Tito Dougs called to give me advice about a controversy I got embroiled in. As always, he knew the right thing to say. He told me, ?Just like the soft drink commercial, Obey your thirst. Tama yung sinulat mo [What you wrote was correct], ?You have finally found your niche?.?

He was one of my major sources of comfort and strength during that crisis period. The last time I spoke to him was before the two Davids? concert. I was bugging him for tickets since I was shy to text Jomari Yllana who just split up with my good friend Pops. ?You?re so funny,? he said. ?Di naman co-terminus ang friendship nyo ni Jom sa relasyon nila ni Pops [Your friendship with Jom is not co-terminus with jis relationship with Pops].? Tito Dougs, your impact and influence on me is not co-terminus with your well-lived life of being well-loved.

New drama series

GMA-7?s Sine Novela block brings to light another unforgettable film-turned-TV series with ?Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin,? which premiers today on Dramarama sa Hapon. It features Maxene Magalona, Glaiza de Castro, Patrick Garcia and first Pinoy Sole Survivor JC Tiuseco in his first drama series.

It?s based on the 1987 blockbuster movie about a family whose members are divided by jealousy and bitterness. Lead star Patrick says he is dying to see his love child, AJ, if his ex, Jennylyn Mercado, would let him.

Will the estranged couple have their own version of the series and call it ?Kung Aagawin mo si Baby AJ sa Akin??
