MANILA, Philippines?Cristine Reyes insists that she?s over Dennis Trillo. But the twinkle in her eyes defies her words every time she mentions his name.

?I found out he was dating other actresses like Pauleen Luna and Kaye Abad while we were still on,? she says. ?Inamin naman niya. Sabi niya nalungkot lang daw siya. Unfair, kasi I was 100 percent faithful to him.?

Why does Dennis fool around? ?Marami kasi siyang frustrations,? says Cristine. ?Siguro he just needs an outlet which he finds in different girls.?

If and when she goes back to the Kapuso network, would she be willing to do a teleserye with Dennis and his other ex, Carlene Aguilar? ?True to life love triangle ba ang kwento?? Cristine asks, laughing. ?No way.?

What was the craziest thing she did for the love of Dennis? ?Pumayag ako na ilihim sa lahat na on pa kami,? Cristine recalls. ?I wanted everything out in the open. He wanted us just to be secret lovers.? Cristine was sort of Dens? kept woman. Too bad he could not keep his promises to her as well.

All out support

Edu Manzano laughs off the issue that he feels bad because he?s not included in ?In My Life,? the movie of his ex Vilma Santos with their son Luis Manzano.

?By the time my cameo role was discussed, it was too late,? explains Edu. ?Wala nang lugar sa script. So I didn?t shoot a single scene. That?s why I find it funny that some people say my scenes were edited out. In the first place, I?m not in the movie. But of course I?ll give it my all out support and I?m proud of Luis for taking on a new challenge.? Good Daddy Doods!

Common pet peeve

I had fun at the birthday party of my ?pangga? Luke Mejares at Party Avenue.

Paolo Santos, Jimmy Bondoc and Duncan Ramos jammed with the birthday boy onstage. It was pure rapture watching them perform together. They have a running joke about another singer who?s their common pet peeve, because his ego is said to have become bigger than his name.

Grand launch party

The trend-setting Channel [V] Philippines (Channel 25 Sky Cable) energizes the local music scene with a grand launch party at the A-Venue in Makati on July 25, 9 p.m. featuring DJ Bad Boy Bill, America?s top House DJ. Catch Channel [V]?s ?Spotlight Special? with Matchbox 20?s Rob Thomas on July 19 at 9:35 p.m. and their regular shows: ?Turo-Turo,? ?Hits All You Can,? ?[V] Tunes Pinas,? ?[V] Tunes Pinas Live? and ?PopKorn.? C?est la [V]!

Setting Angel free

The fantasy-thriller TV series that marked Angel Locsin?s debut on ABS-CBN, ?Lobo,? was hailed as the winner in the Teleserye Program category at the 30th Banff World Television Awards in Canada, a prestigious international media event.

The award should serve as a much-needed adrenaline shot for Angel who?s being judged unfairly because she turned down Mother Lily?s offer to be part of ?Mano Po 6.?

Angel would love to do the movie but her contract with Star Cinema prohibits her from doing so. She has always been very vocal about her utang na loob to Mother Lily for casting her in ?Mano Po 2.? Now it?s time for Mother to give Angel wings and let her fly elsewhere for now. Soon enough, she will fly back to Regal?s turf.
