Talent manager Annabelle Rama ?almost? bumped into GMA 7 exec Wilma Galvante at the birthday party of Regal Films producer Roselle Monteverde-Teo on Tuesday night.

Apparently, coordinators failed to synchronize the entrance and exit of the two warring ladies, so they crossed paths at the driveway.

While Galvante and other Kapuso execs were waiting for their rides at the Imperial Palace hotel driveway, Rama?s car arrived.

Galvante tactfully looked away, but Rama was in a typically pugnacious mood?greeting ?Eat Bulaga? exec Malou Choa-Fagar who was near Galvante in a joking, sarcastic manner: ?Bakit ka aalis? (Why are you leaving?)?

It felt like the longest minute for those who witnessed the scene.

Tamano the singer

There is talk that Vicki Belo?s lawyer Adel Tamano will be one of the contestants in the latest edition of GMA 7?s ?Celebrity Duets??the same singing contest that launched Hayden Kho as a show biz personality.

?I was invited to join both the first and second seasons,? he recalled. ?On the third time, I finally said yes. I?m just waiting for the confirmation.?

Tamano, incidentally, was a former member of the La Salle singing group Kundirana.

Bad PR

New concert venue

Viva Productions is taking advantage of the opening of Skydome, a new concert venue at SM North Edsa, Quezon City. It has prepared a lineup of shows in the next few weeks, led by Regine Velasquez on Aug. 1 and 8.

Regine?s gig will feature Eva Castillo, her former rival during her amateur singing days, as special guest.

Stormy marriage ends
LONDON?Amy Winehouse?s tempestuous marriage ended Thursday when the singer and Blake Fielder-Civil were granted a divorce by a judge in London.

A judge read out the divorce decree along with those of other estranged couples at a brief Family Court hearing.

Neither Winehouse, 25, nor Fielder-Civil, 27, attended the hearing.

Winehouse married Fielder-Civil in Miami in 2007, but he was arrested six months later over an assault and sent to jail.
