Dollywood
Pacman likes Pokwang’s Aling Dionisia spoof

FOR the longest time, Pokwang thought that Manny Pacquiao might not like her for spoofing his mom Aling Dionisia. One surprise phone call changed that.

?Akala ko si Pooh ?yung tumawag at nagpanggap na siya si Manny. Sinabihan ko pa na ?wag niya ako biruin [I thought it was Pooh calling, pretending to be Manny. I told him to stop playing tricks on me],? Pokie recalls. ?Laking gulat ko na si Manny pala ?yung kausap ko [I was surprised to know that I was talking to Manny]. He invited Pooh and me to the fiesta in Gen San. Tuwang-tuwa pala siya sa pag- spoof namin sa kanya at sa mom niya [He found my spoof of his mom funny].?

But Pokie and Mommy D have yet to meet face to face. ?She said she wants to guest in ?Wowowee? at mag-ballroom dancing daw kami sa show [and we?ll do ballroom dancing in the show],? relates Pokie.

While in Gen San, she teased Pacman in a Mommy D tone: ?Anak, ipamana mo na sa akin ang ibang mga kotse mo [Son, give me some of your cars].? The great pretender and the greatest boxer were knocked out with laughter.

Inside job?

Anne Curtis discounts the possibility that the robbery in her house was an inside job. ?I still have no suspects,? she says. ?Good thing I was out working when it happened and only bags and clothes were stolen. But now I feel unsafe in my own home.?

Probably Anne needs a ?man of the house? to protect her.

Party host

It was a delight to watch my ?sis? Vicki Belo host the launch of Cignal TV with Paolo Bediones at the NBC Tent.

At one point in the program, she teased an executive onstage. ??Wag ka matakot dumikit sa akin. Wala namang Hayden camera dito [Don?t be afraid to come near me, there?s no Hayden camera here].? That brought the house down.

Vicki may have temporarily lost all her senses when she fell for Hayden, but she never lost her sense of humor.

Intelligent film

Critics are raving about Piolo Pascual?s first self-produced indie film, ?Manila,? which opened the 5th Cinemalaya at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) last Friday. The film was first exhibited at the 61st Cannes Festival and 31st Moscow International Film Festival. It opens July 22 in Metro Manila theaters.

Piolo essays two different roles in the film?s two episodes?a controversial actress? son and a politician?s bodyguard. A double PJ treat for all the Piolo diehards who can?t get enough of him.

Shameless ad

Dyan Castillejo reveals the way to good health and energy. ?I take two sachets of Easy Pha-Max?s Pure Wheatgrass powder daily and three tablets of Skywheat Wheatgrass tablets thrice a day.? she says. ?After taking it, I get a feeling of wellness. It helps prevent cancer, anemia and other blood disorders since it?s oxgen-rich, promotes weight loss and helps maintain youthful looks.? Would a sports buff?s body like Dyan?s lie to you?

PERSONAL: Thanks a mil to Kara David and my ?gay BF? Nelson Canlas for the sweet MJ surprise.

Birthday cheers to my friend through thick and thin, sick and sin?Eric Cham.
