MANILA, Philippines?CNN?s ?Scene by Scene? takes a look at Filipino independent filmmakers and the Cinemanila International Film Festival, which opens at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on October 15.

The episode?s highlight is an interview with Cannes Best Director Brillante Mendoza.

It airs on October 11 at 12:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. and on October 12 at 2:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
