MANILA, Philippines? The flood has reached even the stars.

Reyes had been calling friends as early as 1 p.m. on Saturday when water began to rise to the second level of her house in Provident Villages, Gutierrez?s sister Ruffa reported on her Twitter account.
?Chard (Gutierrez?s nickname) just talked to Cristine. She?s almost hysterical. It?s dark. She?s freezing. Still no rescue in sight,? Ruffa said.

?After I spoke with Jean at 10 p.m. on Saturday, I immediately sought help from [Quezon City Vice Mayor] Herbert Bautista, who sent a rubber boat to the area. A section of the Marikina River runs near where Jean lives. The river overflowed,? Valera reported.
Valera, quoting Garcia?s handler Beth de los Reyes, said the actress and her daughter had braved through waist-high water to go to the house of fellow GMA 7 contract artist Jennylyn Mercado.
At Mercado?s home, mother and daughter ate, changed clothes and rested a bit.
?They later moved to the house of Jean?s grandmother also in Quezon City,? said Valera. ?Jean had cried a lot,? he added. ?They suffered a lot. Four years ago, their house in Green Hills was razed to the ground.?
