MANILA, Philippines?The former aide of Jennylyn Mercado was arrested Thursday by Rizal police for allegedly using the actress? checks worth P460,000 without her consent.
Superintendent Marcelino Pedrozo of the Quezon City police district said Rowena Pulmano, 40, was collared in San Mateo town at around 11:30 a.m.
Pulmano was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued by the Quezon City regional trial court judge Vicente Baclig over charges of falsification of documents. Mercado has accused her former aide of illegally using her checks amounting to P460,000.
No bail has been recommended for Pulmano?s temporary release.
Pulmano will be temporarily detained at Camp Karingal in Quezon City, Pedrozo said.
