Dollywood
From Kris Bernal: That was just a ‘beso’

KRIS BERNAL sent me this text message to clarify what I wrote in my previous column, that she was spotted kissing a gym instructor: “I really make beso my trainer when I arrive and before I leave. He is also the trainer of Aljur. He is our kuya. He already has a family. No malice involved.”

Lip exercises? Just physical—no attraction.

Fame in a pretty head

Has fame gotten into Carla Abellana’s pretty head so soon? A staff member of “Rosalinda” says, “Pag nasa dressing room, pinapalagyan niya ng “Silence please” na sign ang door. Pati paggamit ng computer, pinagbabawal niya kasi maingay daw.” All celebs have their own quirks. Maybe Carla was just in one of her moods. Or does the smell of success make her long for the sound of silence?

First time in Zambo

I enjoyed my very first trip to Zamboanga City with some fun media colleagues and my best guy friend, Cesar Montano. We toured the high-tech canning plant of Mega Sardines, which Buboy endorses.

He is defninitely running for governor of Bohol, his home province, in 2010. “I will take a leave from ‘Singing Bee,’” he told us. “I have to abide by Comelec rules, even if I will miss hosting the show.”

And how is his marriage? “Sunshine and I consider trials as another brick to strengthen the tower of our relationship,” Buboy said.

Guess list

Could it be true that a senior actor is tolerating her daughter’s liaison dangereuse with a high-profile personality because he needs financing for a major move he’s about to make? The big time friend has a lot of moolah to burn, and the actor is banking on her daughter’s charms. Daddy wants the money!

There’s more to the collaboration of two male singers than just songs. The balladeers are playing sweet music together, much to the dismay of a gay publicist who used to be the “playmate” of the older singer. How long will they keep the music playing and the audience wondering?

Sarah-rah-rah

A glittering array of A-list guest performers will add sizzle to Sarah Geronimo’s “Record Breaker” concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Nov. 7: Billy Crawford, Luis Manzano, Vhong Navarro, Charlie Green of “Britain’s Got Talent” and Matteo Guidicelli, the Filipino-Italian actor/model/race driver.

It’s Sarah’s fourth stint at the Big Dome. The first three were all smash hits, so she is all set to outdo herself. She is also putting the finishing touches to “Your Christmas Girl,” a music video for the album of the same title, which will feature original compositions like the title track and all-time Yuletide favorites. Sarah, rah-rah-rah!

Christmas bazaar

Tintin Bersola-Babao is also celebrating her second citation from the CMMA, this one for her fourth children’s book, “Bakit Siya, Meron? Bakit Ako, Wala?” The fab mom is six months pregnant, with a baby boy this time around. She’s inviting business-minded individuals to join her Charity Bazaar on Nov. 20-22 at the World Trade Center.
