MANILA, Philippines ? The variety talk show, ?Full-Time Moms,? on Q-11 marks the return of Christine Jacob to TV hosting. With Suzi Entrata as cohost, it aims to empower, educate and entertain mothers and viewers from all walks of life.

Challenges

A mother of five, Christine shares with us the challenges and rewards of being a mother. She admits, ?I initially missed hosting, but soon after giving birth to my first child, I knew I was facing a bigger challenge more rewarding than hosting. Parenting is a full-time job, and children are such wonderful blessings from God. It involves sacrifices, which I love making for my children.?

What is her style of parenting? ?I deal with my kids on a case-to-case basis. That way, the bonding becomes more personalized. I never spank them, but I give them warnings.?

Tips

Any tips on budgeting? ?I do the cooking myself, and the first rule I follow is?keep it simple. Two viands on the table are fine. Only during important occasions do we eat in restaurants. I?m lucky my children eat almost anything?hindi sila maselan.?

?Full-Time Moms? also has segments on adoption, aging and overweight children.
