Krista has ‘deleted’ me

RYAN AGONCILLO’S manager Noel Ferrer wants to set the record straight: “Ryan and Juday’s ‘George & Cecil’ runs till January lang talaga,” he says. “It will give way to Juday’s new teleserye. It has nothing to do with Ryan’s joining ‘Eat Bulaga’ on GMA 7.”

That makes Ryan channel-friendly, since he has shows on Channels 2, 7 and 5!

Ryan A. for Amity?

Binoe’s first

Given Robin Padilla’s smoldering, effortlessly cool demeanor, no other image model can more effectively deliver the message of Jag Jeans. Oozing with sex appeal and animal magnetism, Robin has good looks that exude strong, yet classy, machismo. It is Binoe’s first apparel endorsement.

During my liaison dangereuse with Binoe, he gave me many of his jackets, including the fatigue one that had a very sentimental value for him. Hmm … could I make lambing and for a pair of jeans, for old time’s sake? Happy birthday, Binoe! Thanks for the bittersweet memories.

No cameras, please

Hayden Kho has opened a restaurant in Quezon City. We have it on good authority that there are no hidden cameras in the premises. The only “heat” Hayden takes these days is confined to the kitchen. What’s KHOking, dude?

Past is past

Pop singer Princess would rather put her own Hayden Kho episode behind her. “Next time I should be more careful. I must stop, look and listen before I jump,” she says. “I’ll focus on my career now and promote my acoustic Christmas album. Bantay-sarado na ko ng manager ko (laughs).” Princess is in no hurry to find her prince.

Bleep

Krista Ranillo deleted me and other media contacts from her Facebook account. If she has nothing to hide, why is she cutting ties with the press? Stars should not burn their bridges ’cause the people they meet on their way up are the same people they will meet on their way down.

Mellowing

Igi Boy Muhlach has quit drinking. Marriage and impending fatherhood seem to have made him mellow. No to carpe vino, or seize the wine. Instead, cease the wine!

Connection

Mr. Fu and I could not stop teasing Maui Taylor during the taping of our show, “Stop, Talk & Listen” (daily on Cgnal TV’s Viva Cinema Channel) because R&B artist Young JV dropped by to visit her. Earlier, he also visited her at the gym.

When Young JV was a guest in our show, he and Maui had instant physical attraction. Would anybody mind?

Best covers

A group of seasoned musicians plus all-time best covers make each night at Conways Bar Makati Shangri-La worth the trip this November. Catch Side A Mondays; 3rd Avenue, Tuesdays; Hi-way 54, Wednesdays; Spirit of ’67, Thursdays; Version 4.0, Fridays; and Rockin Revival, Saturdays. Shows start at 8:30 p.m.

Hall of Fame

ABS-CBN’s “Sports Unlimited” (Saturdays), hosted by Dyan Castillejo and Marc Nelson bagged the Hall of Fame award for Best Sports Program at the 2009 Catholic Mass Media Awards.

For Dyan and Marc, the product is active life and their office is outdoors. When it comes to action and adventure, the tandem and their crew set the standard.

The show thrives on many “firsts”: Marc was the first ever non-pilot in the country to ride an Alpha fighter jet. They were the first to reach the peak of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia—Mt. Kinabalu and Mt Pulag—and to swim in the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. Their team was the first to attempt a nine-hour open sea journey on jet skis, from Lucena to Boracay, and succeeded. Dyan and Marc heed the call of the wild which, for them, is also the call of duty!
