MANILA, Philippines?Ralston Jover?s ?Baseco: Bakal Boys? won in two film festivals: Thessaloniki in Greece and Torino in Italy.
In Greece, it won Special Mention for its screenplay and subject matter.
In Italy, it won the Ciputti Award because it depicted the ?global problem of child labor.? The award came with a cash prize of 5,000 euros and a trophy that weighs 4 kilos.
It also won Special Mention in Vancouver last month. Bayani San Diego Jr.
