MANILA, Philippines?John Estrada is caught in the crossfire between two co-stars in ?Dahil May Isang Ikaw.? Lorna Tolentino and Chin-Chin Gutierrez, are not too keen on working together after their ?slapping scene? went overboard.
It turned out to be more than just a cinematic slap. ?I?m not taking anyone?s side, though I?m closer to LT,? said John. ?I advised them both to be careful na lang next time, kasi pwede namang iwasan ang magkasakitan sa eksena. They?re both professionals naman, so even if medyo awkward sila, they have no choice, kasi that?s work. Binawasan na confrontation scenes nila.?
I teased John: What if a similar confrontation takes place between his ex, Janice de Belen, and his fiancée, Priscilla Meirelles?
?I won?t allow that to happen,? he quipped. ?I keep praying na dumating na Mr. Right ni Janice, so she will grow old happy. Maybe she should do some soul-searching to find out why her relationships don?t last.?
Enough of the crossfire; time for a ceasefire.

Dingdong Dantes led a gathering of the Advocates of Youth and Students for Noynoy Aquino (Ayos NA) Sunday night at the Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall. Dingdong was tapped by Noy as official spokesperson for the youth.
At the height of the dramatic lighting of torches, Noy?s nephews Kiko Dee, Jiggy and Jonty Cruz thanked Dong for organizing the event in support of their uncle.
Capping the evening was a mini concert featuring Bandaoke, Michelle O Bombshell, Geoff Taylor, Francheska Farr, Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal and other celebs. Although Dong is now active with his work for Noy?s camp, he has no political inclinations for now. ?If I run, it?ll be just ... for health reasons,? he quipped.
Just like the acronym of Dong?s youth group, his fave expression happens to be ?Ayos!? He usually texts that to me. Dong and I are text mates. I call him amigo and he calls me amiga. I learn a lot from him about the male point of view.
I always keep in mind one of Dong?s messages when I sought his advice about my significant other. His text read: ?Dapat masaya ka, whether magkasama kayo o hindi.? Now Dong will live up to his fave line and fix the (youth) mix.
