MANILA, Philippines?Controversial celebrity used to be the BFF of the Girl Friend of Big Politico.

Then GF and BP figured in an ugly skirmish, with GF seeking help from ? everywhere, saying she had long been battered by BP, who claimed she was unfaithful.

It was the perfect opportunity for CC to console BP.

CC and BP were spotted checking into a five-star hotel recently.

They must?ve suddenly realized how they could fill the void in their respective lives. FP wanted affirmation; CC was in dire need of moolah, says a spy.

But why would CC be in financial straits, when a super-rich man adores her?

Not to blame, but still ?

There?s idle chatter that Major Star of a TV network has parted ways with Pretty Girlfriend?a teleserye star with a speech impediment?who allegedly suffocated the guy with jealousy-induced tantrums.

Sweet Ingénue, MS? new screen partner, isn?t to blame. SI is smitten with Glib Celeb, a TV host, insists a mole.

Then again, SI can somehow be blamed for the MS-PG breakup there seems to be some really big plans for SI?s successful tandem with MS.

First love never dies

The opportunity to work with her First Boyfriend, a rock star who left his band to go solo, was presented to Actress-Singer.

FB is not as dashingly handsome as her present screen partners, but AS seemed a bit too excited about the reunion.

It only goes to show that first love never dies.

Susan Boyle still on top

LONDON?Scottish singer and Internet sensation Susan Boyle remained at the top of the British pop charts for a second week on Sunday with her debut album ?I Dreamed A Dream.?

The collection of songs from the 48-year-old church volunteer, who shot to fame on the TV talent show ?Britain?s Got Talent,? has sold over 700,000 copies in just two weeks, the Official Charts Company said.

The album is already the third best-selling of the year after becoming the largest global CD pre-order in the 14-year history of Amazon.com.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend?s gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Gretchen Barretto on her life, career and a possible acting award:

?Every day limang rosaryo ang dinarasal ko. Every week talaga nasa Baclaran ako ? Dinarasal ko po ang aking teleserye, career. Kaya po huwag kayong magulat at magiging active talaga ako sa mundo ng TV.? (Lima? As in?)

Hayden Kho on the revocation of his physician?s license due to his sex videos:

?I am really hoping that they will just suspend me because pinaghirapan ko ?yung license. Alam naman nila ?yan, doktor din kasi sila. What happened to me ? in my personal life ? it has nothing to do with my practice of medicine.? (The right hand isn?t supposed to know what the left hand is doing?)

Gina Alajar on the TV broadcast of a message she posted on her Facebook account about the alleged Pacman-Krista affair:

?On Nov. 15, 2009, the show biz magazine show ?The Buzz? featured in its segment ?POV? my Facebook page, quoting and showing onscreen my shout-out posted a few days before ? If the producers and writers of ?The Buzz? had only been more prudent, this issue would not have been blown out of proportion. I stand by my earlier assertion that ?The Buzz? has violated my right to privacy and I hold the show?s manager accountable for the aggravation this has brought me and my family.? (?The Buzz? has not issued an official statement, but one of its hosts, Boy Abunda, said in a news website interview that the show will not apologize.)

Sharon Cuneta on her failure to secure her late father Pablo Cuneta?s inheritance:

?Hanggang ngayon galit ako ? I mean, may kinikita naman ako, e.
